This artwork is dedicated to a special kind of leopard: the Amur Leopard
The Amur leopard is one of the rarest cats in the world, considered critically endangered. Only about 90-100 of them are left in the wild.
These gorgeous animals live in a small area that borders Russia and China on the far east side, called the Leopard Land, which is a national park. The scientists working to protect these magnificent animals, along with other endangered species like the Amur Tiger, have the tough task of keeping poachers and the fires away from the wildlife in the area.
I had so much fun drawing this big cat! These leopards raise the bar of beauty and feline gracefulness.
My mission is to raise awareness and create a strong message of love and kindness towards nature, through art, so that we can preserve our planet for future generations. My leopard artwork is a statement about the beauty of nature and its dependence on human influence.
You can read more about these beauties and do your part in protecting them, through numerous wildlife organizations. I chose to show you this one: WWF, because they have extensive programs and really good ways to engage people to help. I have no affiliation with them or any kind of interest. I simply love the way they present facts, through powerful imagery and simple stories.
Below, I’m displaying my Amur leopard art, and a few places where you can purchase my artwork.
