When I paint a portrait, I don’t just see an animal — I feel the bond they share with you. I let the emotion guide me as I study their expressions, their spirit, the little things that make them who they are. I may be painting a portrait, but what I’m really aiming to capture is love and connection.

Every pet has their own personality, their own spark — what I like to think of as their unique “aura”. I design the background of each painting to reflect that energy. Sometimes it’s quiet and gentle, other times it’s bold and full of life, just like the companions we hold dear.
